Casa no name

{Glimpse}: It was with great  anticipation and excitement that tonight I  took a look at the TOAST website for their new collection. Even better when I saw  that a copy of their catalogue can be viewed on their website – just a glimpse before the real thing come through on the post. .. Their new  catalogue has been  shot in Mexico in the house of photographer Deborah Turbeville, CASA NO NAME.

I love the mood of her photography, the romantic and bygone feel. CASA NO NAME names  also her book in which she collects her photographs of her own house in Mexico and  those from her travels around Guatemala and fragments of narrative and annotation, on sale at TOAST.

Tuberville is one of my favorite photographers! I saw Casa No Name in a store once, and I can say that her photos are just as striking, haunting, and poetic in print.
