Antique Market Asolo [Northern Italy]

{Dolce Asolare}: This post marks the last of the missing episode of going ''Treasure hunting with Walter'. As we already know, his monthly calendar starts with the first Sunday at the local mercatino of Marostica, followed by every second Sunday of the month at the Antique Market of Asolo. On the third Sunday is the time of S. Zenone degli Ezzelini and last of Piazzola sul Brenta.

Last but not the least, the beautiful and historical Asolo. One of my favourite spot when at home, I enjoy having a cappuccino sitting outside the Caffe' Centrale and just wondering around on the piazza of this gem, one the most beautiful Borghi d'Italia. Full of history and historical building, Asolo was also home to the English poet Robert Browning the actress Eleonora Duse, the explorer Freya Stark, the violinist Wilma Neruda and the composer Gian Francesco Malipiero.
Every second Sunday of the month the main square, Piazza Maggiore, hosts an upscale antique market with some rare historic objects and my
friend Walter was there yesterday afternoon, capturing some essence of Asolo for us.

Such beautiful architecture and findings. I adore the generous photography, it has really captured the place and someday I want to visit Asolo.
