On a rainy day : Liberty

{Therapeutic}: Absolutely, I could easily spend the all day in Liberty…. and last week I had something in mind that I wanted to make so I pay a couple of extra visits to the Haberdashery department where the lovely Liberty fabrics are on display – Warning: It’s easy to get carried away here with the array of colour and lovely motif, nostalgia print for all tastes – and if fabrics is not your thing then the furniture, homeware and jewellery departments ( my favourite) have plenty to offer… and even if you are not on a shopping mood, the music played throughout the shop will make your visit worthwhile!

Friends out there I am still around it’s simply that I have not been connected, well in many ways – I try not to be too connected with reality sometimes I prefer my little world of colours and fantasy …

Change of mood; new obsession:

flowers  of all sorts printed on fabric, paper, ceramic and  glass. Could it  be because my plants by the kitchen window refuse  to bloom? I wonder why..one of the cyclamen has got one bloom… the two pink roses has nothing but green leafs…the succulent plant has dropped all its intense fuchsia flowers and the only colour available now  is provided by an array of pink and fuchsia vases and containers…

Lately…

{Improvised}: A table and a brick wall, a suitcase short and  voila’ it’s  street Trading, rough and direct. As always keeping myself busy with something, this time is my Strane Sarte enterprise – which has been keeping me busy and …awake (making things)  for the past few days. So here I am still awake, as my sleeping patterns have radically changed in the past few days and tomorrow is work, shame it was all so  nice!!

My escape to ... Richmond

{Sunday}: One of my favourite spot, Richmond. Yesterday it was beautiful, the light was just perfect, bright, you could see that the sun has been shining earlier on the day, later just few clouds were  providing the right setting for a relaxing Sunday afternoon….
