A dreamy start

{Mornings}: I have finally managed to get some sleep today… and it was so nice!I have dreamt about so many things… if only I could have captured my dreams they would have look like this:

lots of flowers around the house…

and my favourite, cappuccino and brioche …

more flowers for an outdoor space of my own…

a spacious bedroom…

…whilst so now and again I can hear raindrops falling down outside… one thought cross my mind: I am going nowhere, I am safer here!!

New friend

I was so happy when decorator Moa from moas tid og rom left a comment yesterday afternoon. A new world of inspiration opened up in front of me when I checked her blog.I felt a connection to her style, especially her love for vintage laces, her dreamy creations and her amazing photos…. I could easily spend the all day checking her blog! Enjoy it!

Happy week!

I have been getting little sleep lately. It seems like there is not enough  time to do everything during the day… so here I am blogging on an early Monday morning, although it doesn’t quite feel like a Monday yet! Sunday it’s past just by few hours   and  I wonder why it didn't quite feel like a Sunday either..I  woke up far too early…and with lots of ideas… a mirror like this for my stall at the market (not that easy to find!)

 

Sunday lunch didn’t happened, breakfast instead!

 

The the day ended with more sewing…

       

But I am glad, I am a bit tired but full of ideas and inspirations, including   these beautiful photos by Polly Wreford, they have made my day so far and  I hope there will be an inspiration for the day to you as well!

Time to go to sleep for me but I will be back later on  today! Hope you had a nice week-end ….with plenty of sleep!

Industrial chic

{New York}: Industrial features  add so much character to interiors and this converted New York flat have plenty of them. Designer, writer and photographer Marco Pasanella has followed the restructuring work himself of this ex-seal factory, which building is from 1830s.

The result is stunning, I love the brick wall, the informal atmosphere and the unexpected details that remind the history of this space…. inspiring!Have a lovely Wednesday!

In the suitcase

This morning I left with a suitcase… full of goods, destination: Spitalfields Market! Today marks the beginning of my Market week. I will be at Spitalfileds Market until Friday and then over the week-end the real packing … for the real departure!

 

Today it was a quite Monday,  but it has been fun and  I  had the opportunity to meet  some  great people too.

  

I have given out few Strane Sarte cards,

combined tones of dark brown and green, burgundy with few touches of pink on my table display …

and admired my stall neighbour’s creations:
