{Times}: The other evening I took a walk along a pavement fully covered with leaves and then yesterday I saw rubbish bags filled with the same just standing outside a house, waiting for collection? Civilisation has really reach its highest, we fill our pavements and gardens with litter but we can’t bare the idea of walking over a carpet of leaves …. where is common sense gone and even more is being green just a metaphoric term for being trendy?

I think you are right. We are not perfect but we try to be as green as possible - our leaves are gathered and used in the garden beds but right now they make a lovely carpet to be walked on and enjoyed.
