Maison Martin Margiela showroom

{Style}: Fashion brand Maison Martin Margiela  is well known for its innovative and  essential style. Throughout his career, Martin Margiela has maintained an extremely low profile. He has never had his picture taken and remains backstage after his shows. All media contact is dealt with via fax.

The Parisian Showroom is a building of the eighteenth century, an ex design school founded by Andrè Peuble in 1939, an industrial engineer  and art collector . Since 2004 this building has become the Headquarters  of Maison Martin Margiela, although it’s almost like the school has never closed since its original interiors have remained untouched.

The 380sq showroom in Milan is inspired by the spirit  of the brand, essential and discreet.    margiela_12

Maison Martin Margiela’s ultradiscreet trademark consists of a piece of cloth with the numbers 0-23. The badge is attached to the inside with its four little white pick stitches, exposed to the outside on unlined garments.  margiela_15

That interior is so inspiring both in colour and in detail. Thank you posting these!
